Shaun just shakes his head a little. That tracks. Maggie is better at taking care of herself than most of his team--unless she thinks other people need her care more. And he knows that causing an outbreak had fucked her up pretty badly.
"Smart of him, though if he does do that, he should let the rest of us know where you are. I can think of one or two people who might worry."
"I promise my boyfriend will never whisk me off to sleep for a week or two
without giving you and Sweeney a courtesy heads up," Maggie dutifully
swears, nudging Shaun with the elbow of the arm currently holding a large
spoon.
"I think Sweeney would've been a willing accomplice, at the time."
He grins a little, elbowing her back. "Thanks. I'd hate to charge in here looking for you and find you with Tim sitting on you. So awkward. I might blush."
"I'll have you know I set the security system to Do Not Disturb before
doing things that would make you blush. Aren't I considerate?" Maggie grins
at him. "You have emergency override permissions in case you need decon
facilities, obviously, but this is your fair warning to only use them in an
actual emergency."
"I thought I was the fragile flower who needed protection in our
team," Maggie retorts, grinning. "Not that it keeps me from looking out for
all of you, of course."

"I apologize for offending your delicate sensibilities," Maggie says, and the words are teasing, but her tone is actually sincere.
"You're not going to walk in on anything you don't want to see without warning, I promise."
